MSA buys firefighter protective clothing manufacturer Globe manufacturing company

After successive acquisitions of GM, Latchways and Senscient, the three major industry giants, MSA made another big move - the $215 million acquisition of firefighter protective clothing manufacturer Globe Manufacturing! This is another major move of MSA in the fire protection industry. Where is Globe?

Founded in 1887, Globe is the oldest and largest manufacturer of fire fighting suits in North America. Headquartered in Pittsburgh, New Hampshire, it has four offices in the United States with a total of 420 employees. Recently, Globe introduced a series of sport-inspired fire fighting suits featuring a fabric that is lighter than traditional fire fighting clothing.
